Show Us Your Life: Wedding Ceremony

It is wedding time on Kelly's Korner Blog!! I didn't get to participate in last week's "dress" post... so I will show a couple pictures of my dress in the ceremony post... hope y'all don't mind. ;)

My dress:

Flowers...

We had our wedding at Moon River Ranch in Texas...

The ceremony was held in a 100 year old little white chapel... exactly the church I dreamed about since I was a little girl. :) And red doors... imagine that. ;)

Decorations around the chapel...

Some wild flowers in a mason jar...hanging all around the chapel.

Daisy wreaths on the church door...

Big ol' country roses on the pews.

And another daisy wreath on the cross...and more roses on the unity candle display.

I didn't want anything super uniformed with a particular color or type of flower... everything in the ceremony I wanted in cream wild flowers or roses accented with greenery...
the reception had an eclectic mix of flowers...and fall decor (decorative pumpkins, corn, squash, corn stalks, hay, etc).

We wanted an intimate wedding with only our close friends and family. Accordingly, we chose to have only family in our wedding party. My maid of honor and matron of honor were my two sisters, (and conveniently, my best friends) Emily and Jessica.

I loved their dresses... they were so pretty... a pink blush color with an ivory lace overlay. Just perfect for a country chapel wedding...

I also had a junior bridesmaid, Britney (Jon's sister).

Jon's best man was his brother Nathan and groomsman was my brother, Jared.

We had a flower girl (my niece, Ella). My mom made her little dress... she looked like a little Cinderella. :)

Appropriately arrived on a western horse and carriage. ;)

Dad and I walking up to the chapel... Notice how tightly I am gripping my dad's arm. haha... I was so scared I would trip over my dress on my way up the stairs to the chapel. And nevermind the pathway up to the church is all uneven decorative stone... which doesn't exactly help out when you are wearing heels. ;) Our sweet tea table for the guests in the background... which I never actually saw...

Going in... Darlene (my wonderful wedding coordinator) making sure everything went smoothly.

Ceremony...

At least Jon looks happy to see me. :)

Jon's good friend Cliff (from the Christian band Two Empty Chairs) sang (amazingly...I might add) while we did our unity candle.

Mr. and Mrs. Farley!

Jon's pastor from Arkansas married us...

A big ol' picture of both of our immediate families...

And that was our ceremony... stay tuned for next week's reception! We had our reception in a barn... it was a hoot! :) For more wedding ceremony pictures... don't forget to check out Kelly's Korner Blog!
